I’d love to hear about your job, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I studied illustration at Cambridge School of Art and later Central Saint Martins (UAL) and was freelancing by the time I graduated with an MA.
My work combines collage, drawing, painting and digital.
Painting
There is to me a route through this world for every object, quite often rambling and imperfect. The humble throwaways that get lost among the hierarchical visual scramble are retrievable in the same small ways.
My considerations are painterly and can incorporate collage, assemblage and drawing. These steps bring physical elements together, and simple materials of boxes with folds, die-cut or re-cut edges, created marks and colour. Rather than aiming for seamless unity I think more about locating their place.
My process is intuited by the materials I select and plays with concepts around opposites and belonging.

Writing
Writing has been a constant thread for as long as I can remember, evidenced by a vast number of notebooks.
Over the recent decade my notes have turned into short and long form stories as well as films. During this period I studied for two years at LCC (UAL) for an MA in Screenwriting.
Published work includes selection for National Flash Fiction Anthology ‘Ripening’ and Ride Journal. In 2019 I was a Curtis Brown Creative Scholarship recipient.
